Dr. Nefretiti Morant is a Christian author, educator, and storyteller with a lifelong love for the written word. Born in the United Kingdom to Barbadian parents and raised with a deep faith, Nefretiti has spent her career using the power of story to inspire, uplift, and point people toward truth.
A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Psychology, Nefretiti draws on her understanding of human connection and her passion for people to craft stories that feel both real and deeply meaningful. She made her literary debut in 2012 and has since authored more than twenty books across multiple genres — always with one goal at the center: to inspire readers of all ages to live, learn, and grow.
Rooted in Him marks an exciting new chapter — her first children's book series, Little Hearts, Big Truth, co-authored with her child Phoenix Morant. The series was born out of a simple but powerful prayer: that children everywhere would grow up knowing God's Word is alive, relevant, and speaking directly to their everyday lives.
Nefretiti currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her family. When she is not writing, she is creating content to encourage and inspire.

Phoenix Morant is six years old, full of curiosity, and already a published author. Co-writing the Little Hearts, Big Truth series alongside her mother, Phoenix brings the wonder, honesty, and joy that only a child can offer. Her voice is woven into every story — proof that God uses the smallest hearts to carry the biggest truths.

A Lifelong Builder
Long before the books, there was Lego. Dr. Morant has been building since age 12 — starting with an entire Lego city in her childhood basement that took over the whole room and never quite left her heart.
When the world slowed down during Covid, the bricks came back out. She picked up where she left off — building, sharing her creations online, and rediscovering the joy of constructing something beautiful from scratch.
Those posts caught the attention of casting for Lego Masters on Fox, earning her an audition for the 2021 season. She made it to the semi-finals of casting — a testament to a collection that is, by all accounts, seriously impressive. Today the basement city is back, bigger and better than ever.
